This is Lorene, everyone calls her Lo. Who is Lo? She is the owner and sole operator of Doula-N-Da-Middle. She is also a holistic fertility, birth & postpartum doula/support person and yoni steam specialist with over 30 years in the medical field, CPR/First Aid certified with the American Heart Association, holds a fingerprint clearance with the state of Arizona, yoni steam facilitator and a placenta encapsulator. She is an eager support to have with a heart full of compassion and empathy towards others.

Born & raised in a metropolitan area of Pennsylvania, Lo is a product of an extremely large family whose American lineage began in Savannah/Tybee Island, Georgia...descendants of the Gullah Geechee people.

She has a passion and heart for science and helping others. This led her to attend college in Philadelphia in the Allied Health field. Lo has been certified as a CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) since 1993. She is now a LNA (Licensed Nursing Assistant) since 2018. Lo graduated from Sanford Brown College-Atlanta as a MA (Medical Assistant) in 2011 and was also an EMT-B in Pennsylvania, certified through JeffStat in Philadelphia in 2001.

Her doula trainings were done through National Black Doula Association (www.blackdoulas,org) and MoDaBa (www.momsdadsbabies.com) . Truly recommended for BIPOC birth workers. Recently, Lo completed a birth doula training with DONA International (www.dona.org). She is also a proud member of the MoDaBa Village Mother Doula Collective supporting families in Tucson, Arizona.

Lo is a mother of 2 men and a lil lady that are the beat to her heart and Madea to her two grandchildren that she spoils every chance she can!

Lo definitely has a zeal for travel, international and stateside. The salt life is in her blood. Her affinity is cruising and resorts. Check out the snorkeling pic on the Contact Me page. Her family is always going somewhere as a unit.

To be around Lo is to laugh, be genuine and also comfortable. She is truly a Southern Northeasterner who cares for and about all & and a true protagonist.

Lo's service to birthing people will be to guide them through the prenatal/birth/postpartum process with education and support. Her dedication to detail and client comfort makes Her a great asset to any client she secures that is overwhelmed with all thing's pregnancy related.
